Maui - The Valley Isle
It's easy to see why Maui was voted "Best Island in the World" over a dozen times by the readers of Condé Nast Traveller. There's so much to love about this island - from near-perfect weather and award-winning cuisine to spectacular beaches and golf courses.
The name Valley Isle is derived from the fact that central Maui sits between two mountains with Haleakala to the east, and the West Maui mountains to the west.
Nearly all of the central Maui floor is no more than 200 feet above sea level, while Haleakala soars to over 10,000 feet above sea level.
The second largest of all the Hawaiian Islands, Maui will energize and engage you. With over 120 total miles of shoreline, Maui has more swimmable beaches than any other Hawaiian island.
With a land area of 729 square miles, 48 miles long and 26 miles across at its widest point, Maui can reawaken the adventurous spirit in even the most seasoned traveler. What's more, our private Maui rental provide the perfect launching pads for experiencing all that a Maui vacation has to offer.
Imagine the possibilities:
* Watching the sun rise over the 10,000-foot summit of Haleakala Crater , the largest dormant volcano in the world. Some say the terrain at this height resembles the landscape of the moon - quite a contrast from the lush greens of the forests and sugarcane fields on the road up to the summit.
For the adventurer, biking tours are available downhill from Haleakala Crater.
* Shop, visit museums and art galleries, and catch top-flight theater productions in the historic town of Lahaina. With restaurants and nightclubs to suit all tastes, Lahaina will keep you entertained - even dancing - well into the wee hours.
Be sure to visit:
- the historic Banyon Tree in downtown Lahaina, over 130 years old and almost two thirds of an acre of shade on a warm sunny day.
- the #1 restaurant in Maui over 10 years in a row - Lahaina Grill located at Lahainaluna road.
* Amazing sunset walks along the only ocean boardwalk in Kaanapali bordering a lively community along the famed Kaanapali beach and five stars resorts of West Maui from Hyatt to Sheraton. Fine dining, formal & casual
available at Whaler's Village situated along the ocean boardwalk.
* Hike through the lush rainforests of Iao Valley, a setting steeped in the rich history of the island. Perhaps you'll catch a rainbow cresting over the Iao Needle; this natural rock pinnacle rises some 2,300 feet above the valley's floor.
* Spot humpback whales as they breach the ocean's surface. You'll have plenty of opportunities between November and April each year: Whales are very active here (they love the warm waters west Maui), and whale-watching cruises depart regularly from Lahaina and other points along the west Maui coast.
* Maui is one of the world's premier golf destinations with 16 golf courses appealing to every level of player. Home to the annual Mercedes Championships at Kapalua, the first tournament of the PGA tour featuring winners from the previous year.

One of the many things visitors never forget about a Maui vacation is the beauty of our white-sand beaches - simply among the best in the world. With over 120 total miles of shoreline, Maui has more swimmable beaches than any other Hawaiian island.
Exclusive to our guests who rent our luxury & private Maui condos - access to our excluive beachfront clubhouse with a full kitchen, the only one on the island of Maui!
Chances are you'll probably explore the island's different beaches yellow, red and black sand beach too! However, not all beaches are swimmable as they can be rocky too.
Rest assured our guests will enjoy a sandy, rock-free beach somewhat protected by the Sheraton Black Rock coral reef to one side, with a gradual drop in the beach, not a deep drop off as in some areas of Kaanapali
beach.
